After having my daughter It became evident how impressionable young children can be. I realized early on that it was very important for me to instill in her a love for her faith and beliefs and give her the tools to be proud of who she is.

I found that one of the best ways to do this was through books. We attended some of the most exciting and theatrical storytimes at our local bookstore in San Francisco and I saw how books could come to life and spark such joy in children.

I wanted books about Islam to spark that same level of excitement in her and other children, and thus Lunar Learners was born.
